Adult Drama for Fun

We will be keeping a SMALL CLASS SIZE of only 10 students in order to maintain the highest standard of tutoring and full creative interaction and engagement.  We have two options for this course that are 8-class or 4-class and you can take either or both in any sequence and return for more!

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
If you have ever thought of trying some acting, or want an opportunity to have some creative play-time in your schedule, then Adult Drama for Fun is the course for you!

This  course will explore the foundations of he acting process in a collaborative, fun and creative environment.
Some of the content will include theatre games and the basics of acting techniques including voice and body work, improvisation, and some script work. Each term will finish with a presentation with-in the classtime for fellow class members. It’s low pressure, engaging, entertaining and loads of laughs. Often students come back and take Drama for Fun again with a different instructor, as each teacher will bring their own flair to the course!

Other beginner course options: Drama Sampler, Welcome to Improvisation, Intro to Screenwriting, Adult Scene Study.

Class size is limited to 10 students in order to ensure the maximum level of attention for all.

Course #2537 : NEW - Adult Drama for Fun Mini-Course (4-classes) Oct-Nov 2025

If you have ever thought of trying some acting, or want an opportunity to have some creative play-time in your schedule, then Adult Drama for Fun is the course for you!   

Due to popular demand we have created this NEW Adult Drama for Fun 4 class "mini-course" which can be taken in addition to our 8-week Adult Drama for Fun option as another alternative with slightly different variations on the content so you can take it in any combination with our other courses!

This  course will explore the foundations of he acting process in a collaborative, fun and creative environment.
Some of the content will include theatre games and the basics of acting techniques including voice and body work, improvisation, and some script work. Each term will finish with a presentation with-in the classtime for fellow class members. It's low pressure, engaging, entertaining and loads of laughs. Often students come back and take Drama for Fun again with a different facilitator, as each teacher will bring their own flair to the course!

  • When: Monday evenings 7:00-9:00pm, October 6th-November 3rd, 2025 (NO class Oct 27th Bank Holiday)
  • Where: Live at Flying Turtle Studio at 27 Pearse Street, Dublin D02K037, 2nd floor Studio
  • Instructor: Kathleen Warner Yeates
  • Fees: €140, Due in full within 3 days. No refund/credit/transfer if a student misses class for any reason. Refundable only in the event of Flying Turtle cancellation.

Course #2601: Adult Drama for Fun - Jan-Feb 2026 (8-classes) RESERVING NOW!

If you have ever thought of trying some acting, or want an opportunity to have some creative play-time in your schedule, then Adult Drama for Fun is the course for you!

This  course will explore the foundations of he acting process in a collaborative, fun and creative environment.
Some of the content will include theatre games and the basics of acting techniques including voice and body work, improvisation, and some script work. Each term will finish with a presentation with-in the classtime for fellow class members. It's low pressure, engaging, entertaining and loads of laughs. Often students come back and take Drama for Fun or our Adult Drama for Fun 4-week "mini-course" again with a different facilitator, as each teacher will bring their own flair to the course!

We have good health procedures in place such as santizing, ventilation, and a HEPA Air Filter in the studio class. 

  • When: Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm, January 8th-February 26th, 2026
  • Where: Live at Flying Turtle Studio at 27 Pearse Street, Dublin D02K037, 2nd floor Studio
  • Instructor: Keith Jordan
  • Fees: €270, Minimum non-refundable deposit of €100 due within 3 days. Payment in full also accepted. Any remaining balance will be due in full by December 29th, two weeks before the start of the course. No refund/credit/transfer if a student misses class for any reason. Refundable only in the event of Flying Turtle cancellation.
