Drama and Acting courses are available for young people according to their ages, and are based in the Flying Turtle Studio (formerly the Abbey School of Drama), at 27 Pearse Street, Dublin D02K037.
Overview of Course options
Courses between September and June are on Saturdays for 7-12 weeks depending on the term, and include presentation performances in the Spring term. The Autumn and Winter terms are for studio process and development work that leads to the Spring performance. The summer months will have youth drama for fun camps for each age group.
COVID-19: Our live classes follow COVID-19 guidelines with small class size, social distancing, mask wearing, ventilation, sanitizing and our HEPA Air Filter in the studio.

All young people’s courses incorporate the same essential techniques used in acting classes and will work on vocal and physical expression, developing imagination, engaging in a collaborative ensemble, developing character and narrative, and strengthening the ability to focus. The objectives of young people’s classes are to use the techniques of drama build the self esteem of the student, and to have a fantastic time while doing it!
The acting school features an international team of specialised tutors with extensive training and cross-over experience in teaching, acting, directing, writing and producing. Our instructors are Guarda vetted and professionally trained in the process of acting and how to facilitate for the particular ages they are working with.
