“A heartfelt thanks to super-duper teacher and teacher trainer Miriam from Flying Turtle Pro for having given me the opportunity to explore the English Language from a different angle…through DRAMA and IMPROV techniques she is a master of and a whiz at. I have benefited greatly from such engaging, edifying and well-structured courses – “Drama for Language Teaching” and “Learn English Through Drama”. Over the last 8 weeks I have broadened my knowledge in the field of Drama-based teaching internalising new techniques and methods to bring theatre into the classroom in order to give my students the chance of triggering and enjoying the process of language learning. Miriam has set a stimulating, action-based environment where my colleagues, fellow students and I could act out…performing the most amazing sketches as well as learning and working on the process of screenwriting.
Despite the unprecedented circumstances we are currently experiencing due to the pandemic outburst, Miriam build up a positive and empowering learning environment even at a distance thanks to her charisma, verve and expertise (and His Majesty Zoom of course :-D) bridging cultural gaps, overcoming language barriers and helping us unwinding for 90 minutes from our daily chores through a mindfulness-based approach, thereby training our mind to reconnect with our body, emotions and behaviour.
Miriam’s endless enthusiasm, unconditional love for Drama-based teaching and relentless commitment made the courses a one of a kind experience.” – Valeria De Felice
