Course #2604: Welcome to Improvisation - March-April 2026 (Nearly filled!!)

This dynamic 6 week course covers the basics of improvisation including collaborative theatre games, status, character work, devising scripts, and a variety of other techniques.

We will practice voice and body work, and exercises that connect imagination to action and free the intuitive subconscious to increase creativity and moment-to-moment awareness.

It is suitable for beginners or for those with some experience who wish to bring more spontaneity into their work. Above all, this course is great fun! All levels welcome!

When: Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm, March 5th-April 9th, 2026
Where: Flying Turtle Productions, 27 Pearse Street, 2nd floor Acting Studio, Dublin D02K037
Instructor: Keith Jordan
Fees: €200 due in full within 3 days of reservation, no refund/credit/transfer for missed classes for any reason. Refund/credit/transfer only if Flying Turtle cancellation.

Course #2605: Improv Performance Course (8-classes) - Live Theatre Performance at the end! April-June 2026

This is an in-depth 8 week improvisation course in which you will learn how to create characters and scenes spontaneously while having fun! Content includes collaborative theatre games, physicality and character work, devising scripts, and a variety of other techniques. It requires a commitment to attend all classes and the production schedule below.

This class is suitable for those who have completed the ‘Welcome to Improvisation’ 4 week course or who have previous improvisation experience either in class or on stage. We will practice voice & body work as well as exercises that connect imagination to action and free the intuitive subconscious to increase creativity and moment-to-moment awareness.

In the final week, the class will perform an improvised show in a Dublin theatre venue, open to the public.
Commitment to the final performance and a rehearsal on the afternoon of the performance is essential for this course.

When: Thursday evenings 7:00-9:30pm, April 16th-June 4th, 2026. Must be available all day and evening for final performance day June 4th!
