DUE TO HIGH VOLUME OF PRODUCTION ACTIVITY IN THEATRE AND FILM THAT WE ARE WORKING ON OUTSIDE OF FLYING TURTLE, THIS 6-MONTH COURSE OPTION IS ON HIATUS.

HOWEVER, WE DO HAVE OTHER EXPERIENCED LEVEL PERFORMANCE OPTIONS DETAILED HERE: ADVANCED ACTOR WORKSHOPS AND COURSE.

The Advanced 6-Month Actor Training course is the most comprehensive advanced performance course that we currently offer, and is for the experienced advanced student by audition/interviews by appointment. 

Course content includes theatre performances in improvisation, devising, contemporary realism and Shakespeare. This class will be limited to 12 students maximum, and will be taught primarily by Kathleen Warner Yeates, but with additional tuition and direction from other highly qualified guest instructors affiliated with the school. The highest level of commitment is needed to participate in this course as students will be expected to work outside the allotted class times and additional rehearsals will be scheduled prior to productions. Attendance at ALL classes and production dates is required.

 FINAL ROUND AUDITIONS for individuals are being made by appointment. Group auditions have already been held, so only a couple of places are still available for the right candidate. Audition preparation requires two prepared contrasting monologues, as well as improvisation and movement given on the day. This course usually fills and has a wait list. TOTAL COURSE FEE €980.
