The Galway Film Fleadh is a renowned marketplace for new Irish and International film industry talent, and has just finished its week of celebrations July 7th-12th, 2015. We wish to send a huge congratulations to alumni Tristan Heanue (Director/Writer) of the film “Today” and alumni actors Lynn Rafferty and John Connors, for their win of the honor “Best First Short Drama”

We are very pleased to say that many of our alumni from the drama school are working in film as actors, writers, directors and producers. Additionally, we wish to congratulate alumni Shane Coules (writer) for his feature film, “A Day Like Today” which was also selected for the festival, and featured Tristan Heanue as an actor.

We are very fortunate to work in the creative industries with such talented, resourceful, and passionate people. It is a huge accomplishment to complete a film, let along make it into the larger marketplace. We wish to send a huge congratulations to all of the participants.
